YLD becomes the first-ever principal partner to Reading FC Women’s team

We are delighted to be the first-ever principal partner to Reading Football Club Women’s team and to sponsor their 2019–20 season.

"At YLD, we proactively champion diversity and inclusivity within the workplace. The UK has the lowest percentage of female engineers in Europe and we are driven to change that. Supporting gender and genetic diversity in STEM is among our core values, which encouraged us to sponsor an inspiring group of world-class athletes like Reading F.C. Women,” said YLD CEO Nuno Job

“The success of the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup in France and the growing popularity of the FAWSL within this country overtly demonstrates how fast women’s football is evolving, and we are delighted to partner with Reading F.C. Women for the 2019–20 seasons, and play an active part in that evolution.”

Head of Sales and Partnerships at Reading Football Club, Tim Kilpatrick, added “We are excited to announce this
 — our first ever partner solely for the women’s team. YLD is a vibrant company at the cutting-edge of their industry and their support fits perfectly with Reading F.C. Women, who will be striving for even more success in the top tier this season. Together, we hope we can inspire even greater interest and participation in women’s football, both locally and nationally.”

As part of the partnership, the YLD branding will be across the front of the Reading F.C. Women’s team shirts during their WSL 2019–20 and 2020–21 campaigns. And when all the home, away and goalkeeper kits go on sale on the 3rd August 2019 to supporters online and in the Fanstore, fans will be able to purchase the Reading F.C. Women replica kit featuring the YLD logo.

We are beyond excited to be part of the Reading Football Club family and can’t wait to work closely with them during the next two seasons!
